The menu is below. Please let us know asap what you would like to order (for your group) meat/veg/vegan etc – or if anyone has any allergies. For the early slot, we’ll be doing the show first, then food. For the later slot, you will eat first, then watch the show. Drinks available are also listed below, and if you know what you might like to drink to start with it would be helpful if you could pre-order those, too.

Nibbles on the table, then:

Meat: Sussex Seasonal Beef Pasty in a celeriac mash nest with winter vegetables and a port & wine sauce

Veggie: Chestnut, leek and mushroom Christmas parcels in a celeriac mash nest with winter vegetables and a port & wine sauce

Vegan: As veggie but using olive oil instead of dairy

Kids: We’ll give them gravy without port and wine, and plain mash if they prefer and you let us know when you order

Pud: Belgian chocolate and orange brownie bells, with winter fruit and ice cream or sorbet

PAYMENT
To ensure your places, please let us have your food choices and full payment either online – it’s  BOM-BANES  (no apostrophe) Santander   09 01 50     04343581   reference – your name and the date and time you’re coming (eg Jane16 late/early) – or TEXT Jane on 07764 515583 if you prefer to pay over the phone and we’ll call you in the next few days. It’s £30 a head, and £15 for under 18s. (Free for under 7s). We’ll email to notify you that payment has reached us if you pay online. If you book after Nov 1st, payment to be made with booking. If the rules change again, or if you have paid and can’t come due to illness, please let us know as soon as you can, and we will refund you or your group in full.

COVID
Please check your temperature before you come and please do not come if you have any Covid symptoms or your temperature is 38C or above. We will take your temperature as you come in with a non-contact thermometer. If it’s 38 or above, I’m afraid we’ll have to ask you to go back home. We will refund you in full (or your group, if you all have to leave). But if you need to cancel beforehand owing to illness, do let us know in good time if you can, as we may be able to offer the places to others on the cancellation list. If anyone in your group develops Covid after you’ve been here, please inform us asap by emailing Jane the details on this address or by texting 07764 515584. We ask if you would wear your mask if you’re standing or walking around ge cafe. There will be a gentle constant airstream from an open letterbox through to open windows in the kitchen and an air purifier will be on, and front and back doors open in the basement, so please make sure you’re warm just in case. Jumpers or coats. But the heating will be on and you can leave your coats in an allotted place downstairs if you want to – a separate space for each group.

There are two toilets downstairs, so only two in the toilet area at any one time, please. There is soap, hand gel, anti-bacterial spray and paper towels, so we ask that you leave the toilets clean after use and wash hands thoroughly. 
If there’s a fire alarm, please leave by front door exit, and try to keep your 2m distance when leaving, table nearest the window first.There will be hand gel on each table for you to use. If you’d like a copy of our Covid procedures for staff, let us know, and we’ll send them to you.
